The Secret to life is consciousness. “Consciousness” refers to a high level of awareness by the mind of itself and the world,”consciousness emerges from the operations of the brain.” Your brain grows, develops, transforms throughout life. The scientific perspective is that conscious awareness begins around age 6. From fetus to adulthood we are developing our brain to direct our bodily functions as well as our life activities. The “secret codes” to having everything you’ve ever wanted to create in life are locked in your consciousness.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs says the growth of our awareness of life and self follows a progression. When we have mastered our physiological needs of food, shelter, sleep, we become aware in greater or lesser degrees of our need for safety and security. When we have stabilized our existence, we become aware and expand our consciousness to include love and belonging. Consciousness continues to expand as we desire experience confidence and achievement. Self-awareness becomes important as we turn our attention to how we view and experience our Self. Through the process of maturing each of these levels of human development, we expand our consciousness to what is considered the highest level called “self-actualization” meaning we are responsible for fulfillment of all our own needs, we have a high level of integrity of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical energies yielding a high level of morality and creativity. Within conscious awareness of self-actualization energies we experience a greater awareness of our mortality and a need to make our contributions to life.

Where you live in consciousness is the box of the boundaries of your ability to create. Where you live in consciousness also tells you where you can begin to change the laws of life you established and unlock your codes. Every person has a unique combination energy lock to get into their consciousness. The problem, though, is there are 2 parts to consciousness: the conscious part, and the unconscious part. I think of our Ego as the conductor of our conscious and unconscious parts empowering us to stay alive, to function and stay safe from birth. But, as we progress through Maslow’s hierarchy, we begin to choose beliefs and feelings based on experiences in life. Some of the beliefs and feelings do not reflect reality but are coping mechanisms to keep us alive.

What does this have to do with creating money?

Money is one of the survival topics of our lives, so money has a prominent place in our consciousness around all 5 levels of Maslow’s hierarchy. In our modern cultures money is required for us to have food, water, shelter, family and community. These resonate with the physical energies of life - foods, things, people. Our safety, security, belonging and esteem resonate with emotional energies of life. Our mental energies include achievements and our self-actualization resonate with spiritual energies. Since we need money to satisfy the needs at each of these 5 levels, money should be uppermost in our consciousness. But, usually it’s not. Instead, money is viewed as simply a functional necessity of life and considered an inanimate tool.

Quantum physics and spiritual texts agree that everything in our universe is energy. Further, they agree that human intelligence is what directs energies. That means . . .
