If you’ve been reading my blog for any time, you know I view life from a neuroscience and spiritual perspective. Integrating the wisdom from our spiritual texts and current scientific research seems to be a comprehensive approach of “as above, so below”. Coupled with the guiding question of my life, “How do we get what we get in life?” I have spent decades searching for how we manifest our desires into our world.
My Method? Step 1: Asking the right questions in prayer and meditation. Step 2: Listening with all my senses for answers. Not a very sophisticated process, but one that has worked for me. The process began my first year in college. I was upset about something I considered monumental. I screamed at God saying, “If you’re that great, give me the answer!” I opened a Bible, fanned the pages and stopped on the page I felt I should, ran my finger down both open pages until I felt I should stop on the words. To my shock and amazement, the text at that place on the page gave me the answer to my upset.
Looking back I now understand “why” my method worked from a scientific perspective. I also recognize that experience as the beginning of developing and trusting my intuition. I had been and continued to be skeptical about life unseen things for many years even though I was open to researching and exploring what it was all about.
My entire life has been a research project to learn how we create our life. In the decades following, I experienced conversations, books, classes, workshops, prayer and meditation. My intuition and ability to perceive invisible communications got stronger and stronger. I remember laboring over much of the invisible guidance I was receiving. I questioned the validity of the communication. I tested and tested and tested my Self and the guidance.
In August of one year, I was guided to quit my corporate job without being able to "see" what the next step for me was. As a single mother, my income was a big issue. Being responsible for the well-being of my child was a big issue. I couldn't see where the path was leading, so I refused to resign. Then, a huge emotional experience pushed me to resign 5 months later. The fallout from the timing of my resignation was astonishing. I suffered financially and personally for 3 years. I ended up with no job, in bankruptcy and no place to live.
My issue with following the divine guidance I received was "survival". I share this with you because I now recognize that survival is the issue for all of us humans. Although we all know we are headed to "the other side" eventually, we strike that from our minds and pretend we don't see death as our ultimate destination.
The amazing journey I have had in this life has proven to me that we do have the power to create our human selves to be, do and have what we choose, IF we are co-creating with our God-Self. Our connection to Divinity is an absolutely necessary component of our well-being. When I had that realization, life became easier and more satisfying. Things changed as I changed my perspective and my perceptions of my Self, my life and my responsibilities.
I found how life works, how money works, how relationships work, how business works, because I was pointed to see and study things I had been unaware of. People would manifest in my life to give me information I needed for the next step. And that's how I created LIFE4 Coaching into a system of healing the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical energies that make up our life.
I had to heal my own spiritual disconnection first and then I was capable of healing the thoughts/beliefs and feelings that no longer served me. The difficulty of changing the resonances of mental and emotional energies is enormous, but I learned how to do it quickly and efficiently. As my thoughts and feelings changed, my perspective focused me on where I was going, what I wanted, who I chose to be.
You can absolutely change your life, but you must change your perspective and your perceptions in order to change what you resonate with in life. I wish you God Speed in doing so.
