VISION AS PRIMARY CREATION TOOL

Uncategorized May 06, 2019

The primary sense that we depend on most is our vision. We hear sounds as words, we smell, taste and touch materials in our environment, but we rely on vision to give us evidence about how to proceed within our immediate surroundings and goals. Our perceptions become our beliefs.

But, what happens when we perceive new information that contradicts our beliefs? We can dismiss it or we can research and analyze the new information to determine if it better serves us. The gap can exist between belief and information so large as to make it nearly impossible to bridge.

Francine Shapiro conducted a scientific study with trauma victims in 1988 and the research was published in the Journal of Traumatic Stress in 1989. Her hypothesis was that when a traumatic or distressing experience occurs, it may overwhelm normal coping mechanisms, with the memory and associated stimuli being inadequately processed and stored in an isolated memory network.

A technique developed called eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) as a form of psychotherapy in which the person being treated is asked to recall distressing images while generating one type of bilateral sensory input, such as side-to-side eye movements or hand tapping. It is included in several guidelines for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I use eye movements within my LIFE4 System. I have found that eye movements make the shift of mental energies associated with beliefs easier and quicker. When coupled with sound therapies, eye moments are a powerful healing tool. I also use eye movements paired with visualization of goals to change brain frequencies to align with desires.

Try this and tell me what you notice. The next time you feel out of balance or you feel the disconnect or gap between where you are now and where you want to be: Take a deep breath, with head facing forward, move only your eyes. Begin with your eyes up at 12 o’clock, down to 6 o’clock. Right to 3 o’clock, left to 9 o’clock. Repeat up, down, right, left as you visualize your mental/emotional balance or your goal.

Be sure share with me what you experience below.
